Peggy Jean Clines

Mrs. Peggy Jean (Hughes) Clines, age 82, of Bowling Green, formerly of Cave City, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green.  Peggy was born in Hiseville on January 15, 1942, a daughter of the late Reverend Ray and Kara (Adwell) Hughes.  She retired from Mammoth Cave Garment Factory and was a Basil Chapel United Baptist Church member.  Peggy was the epitome of a Grandmother, she enjoyed spending all the time that she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Theresa Barbee, and husband Jeff, of Bowling Green, two granddaughters, Barbara Jo Tuck and husband Erik, of Park City, and Jenny Rae Rector and husband Andy of Smiths Grove. Five great-grandchildren, Elissa Wisdom and her husband Tanner of Park City, Kenton Tuck, Jaxon Rector, Elliot Tuck, and Zachary Rector also survive. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard Clines, and two brothers, Eldon Hughes, and Rollen "Tody" Hughes.    

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Cave City Cemetery. 

Visitation will be on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00.
