Lynn Jefcoat

Lynn Jefcoat, age 86, passed away on November 29, 2023, at The Medical Center at Caverna.

She was born on March 20, 1937, in Cave City, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Claude Earl and Virginia (Gossett) Dossey. Outside of her career, Lynn had a passion for learning and exploring. She enjoyed traveling to different destinations and taking in the beauty of Lake Michigan's shorelines. Lynn also had a deep appreciation for history and was particularly fascinated by the Civil War era. Her knowledge as a Civil War Era Historian enriched her understanding of this pivotal period in American history.

Survivors include her two sons William Jefcoat of Atlanta, Georgia, Andrew Jefcoat, and his wife Monica, residing in Verona, Wisconsin. Two grandsons, Ian and Gannon Jefcoat from Wisconsin also survive.

The family chose to honor Lynn's wishes to be cremated, with a Memorial Service to be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Interment will follow in Cave City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. until the service time.
