Jesse James Craine age 37, departed this life and found the peace he so desired on June 30th, 2023, in Bowling Green, KY. Jesse was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on November 10, 1985, to the late Silas “J.R.” Craine and Shirley Kaye Dial Craine who survives.
Jesse had a gift for poetry and music and his love of music was guided at a young age by his late uncle Ronnie Lee Dial who taught him how to play guitar and to use music to express yourself in ways that you otherwise could not. Jesse had the ability to write music in a way most people dreamed of and poured his heart and soul into the words that he wrote. Jesse enjoyed recording music, creating podcasts, and especially loved performing live, whether it was for two people or two hundred, it did not matter to Jesse. The only thing that mattered was that he was singing and sharing his music with the world.
Jesse is survived by the light of his life, his son, Stayley “Bug” James Craine who he tried greatly to pass on to him his love for music and his ability to show empathy and understanding. His mother, Shirley Dial Craine, his older brothers, Shannon Craine, of Cave City, Silas Craine, Bowling Green, and sister Bobbie Jo Pedigo (Kevin) Glasgow, along with a host special cousins, nieces, and nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Silas Richard Craine Sr. and Velma Dennis Craine. Maternal grandparents Denver “Buster” Dial and Alma Staples Dial, Aunts Linda Dial Mouldon, Frankie Craine Gossett, and Beulah Craine Brown and uncles Ronnie and Tony Dial, Lee Mouldon and Jesse and Michael Craine.
