Faye Moore

Mrs. Faye (Carey) Moore, age 75, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green.  She was born in Cave City, Kentucky on August 3, 1947, a daughter of the late Oscar Mitchell and Cleadith Opal (Brannon) Carey.  Faye worked as a Store Manager for Jr. Foods Stores until her retirement in 2007, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Moore, one daughter, Robin Jeaninne Self, of Cave City, and one son, Baron Dale Alexander, of Munfordville, two stepdaughters: Melissa Ann West, of Cave City, and Mary Regina Montgomery. Seven grandchildren; Amy, Tracy, Andrew, Nick, Tamara, Travis, And Kylie, thirteen great-grandchildren, Sabenna, Jason, Koda, Eli, Mason, Jasmine, Levi, Tori, Kevin, Chloe, Jayden, Brianna, And Izzy, two great-great grandchildren, August, and Caden, and one sister; Freda May Thomason also survives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Kathy Shepard, and Tracy Wright, one brother, Sherman Carey, two sisters, Doris Carey, and Betty Spencer.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, from the Chapel of Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel in Cave City. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time for services at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to BRAWA in honor of Mrs. Faye Moore.
