Charles S. “Chuck” Thomason II, age 62 of Cave City, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at his residence. Chuck was born December 27, 1959, a son of the late Charles S. Thomason, and Ellen Blanton Thomason. He married Debra Faw on December 15, 1979. He was the owner, and operator of Satellite Chuck’s from 1995 to 2005, and managed the family business Tom’s Teepee from 2006 until his recent illness. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to his mother, Ellen Thomason, he is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Debra (Faw) Thomason, both of Cave City, a daughter; Beth Glodjo and her husband Nate of Bowling Green, Kentucky, two granddaughters; Natalie and Haley Glodjo, three brothers; Allen Eaton (Sheri,) and Paul Eaton both of Louisville, Kentucky, David Eaton of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two sisters; Linda Burgess (Mike) of Park city, and Tracy Ortega (Daniel) of Cave City. His German Shephard, Zeus, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father; Charles S. Thomason, his paternal grandparents; Esther and Pyrtle Thomason, and his maternal grandmother; Delia Goben, two brothers; Steven and Joe Eaton and one sister-in-law, Cheryl Eaton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Cave City Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Burden will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends after 1:00 on Saturday, May 21 at the funeral home, and again on Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time for services at 1:00.
